3 PEAKS CHALLENGE
mikebussPT Ltd is currently run 2 organised 3 Peaks Challenges per year, one in May and the other in October.
We offer this challenge for all abilities. For the fitter groups we offer the 24hr challenge, to summit all 3 Mountains in just 24hrs.
For the less adventurous and fit, we have the more relaxed 3day 3 Peaks Challenge, where we summit one mountain per day.
We also offer the 3 Peaks Challenge for organised groups, corporates and charities all year round.
The Challenge:
Starting from the Achintee Visitor Centre, the first leg takes you to the highest point in the UK, Ben Nevis in Scotland at the height of (1334m), before heading to Seathwaite for the 2nd stage – Scafell Pike in the Lake District, Englands highest Peak (977m). Then its on to the 3rd and final stage, Snowdon in Wales at the height of (1085m).
Group Size:
We take groups of 10-15 on each trip.
Transport:
After meeting at our HQ in Swindon, we move off to Fort William in Scotland, near the foot of Ben Nevis. The minibus we use is a large 17seater to give enough leg room for you all and space for equipment.
Accomodation:
We usually use the local Youth Hostel at the foot of Ben Nevis the night before the challenge, but if groups are more adventureous, we can also book a local campsite instead.
Clothing & Equipment:
A packing list of all clothing and equipment required for this challenge will be given to all participants on receipt of booking form. All specialist equipment will be provided.
All groups will be covered by our insurance, providing you have signed our health Questionaire & Liability Waiver. You are advised to take out your own personal accident insurance if you have not done so already.
The cost of this Challenge is £450 per person.
