POWERING RESEARCH – ANNUAL CONFERENCES
Hear from the Chief Executive of the BHF Simon Gillespie, about their work over the past year and of the challenges ahead.
Ask questions and share your ideas. Get close to the Heart Research, meet the researchers and hear how your support will help the BHF fund half a billion pounds of Heart Research over the next five years.
These events are a great opportunity to meet other volunteers, fundraisers, heart patients, carers, health professionals and the local BHF Team. You will also get the chance of learning life saving CPR skills.
Upcoming Events for 2016:
SOUTH: Monday 27th June
Imperial College London.
The Chief Executives review of the year will follow the local teams welcome, with an overview of the BHFs research stratagy and research in your area.
MIDDLANDS: Wednesday 29th June
University of Birmingham.
There will be opportunities during the day to see BHF-Funded research at first hand, as well as workshop options. Choose from learning life saving CPR Skills or sharing your views to shape our future approach to legacy giving, a vital source of income.
THE NORTH: Tuesday 5th July
University of Leeds.
Afternoon Session – Close at 4:30pm
WALES: Thursday 7th July
Cardiff City Hall.
After Lunch, the main focus of the afternoon will be the BHF Heart Hero Awards Ceremony.
