A healthy diet can be seriously undermined if you persistently suffer from even mild dehydration.
Symptoms of dehydration include skin on the back of the hand being slow to spring back when pinched, dry or discoloured tongue and darker urine than normal.
Each person loses approximately 6pints of water daily. one pint from perspiring – two pints from breathing – three pints from urine.
