Health Checks Men Should Consider
During our life, its worth thinking about having a health check or two along the way… Do you know what to look out for in your 20s? In your 30s? Your 40s? Your 50s?
Here’s our Mens Health Check Advice Check List:
In Your 20s:
- Check your weight every few months, and seek advice if your weight rapidly drops or increases.
- Testicles Check – regularly check your testicles for lumps, caught early testicular cancer is curable.
- Check your blood pressure at least once.
- Have a urine test for protein at least once.
- Check your weight every few months, and seek advice if your weight rapidly drops or increases.
- Every 3-5yrs have your blood pressure, cholesterol and urine checked.
In Your 50s and Onwards:
- Check your weight every few months, and seek advice if your weight rapidly drops or increases.
- Have an eye test for glaucoma.
- Every 3-5yrs have your blood pressure, cholesterol and urine checked.
- Every 3yrs have a prostate test.
- Have an ECG check whilst exercising. Checking for early signs of Heart Disease.
