Local Tennis League – Match 5
Match 4: 9th August 2017… Final Score 6-0 6-0
This was yet another great match playing at David Lloyd Swindon, playing on these courts have been awesome! Perfect for a deaf player like myself, evening up the game against those who are not deaf.
This Match would also be my first ever match against another deaf tennis player, who when talking to my opponent, we were in total agreement that indoors tennis was perfect for the Deaf player and that David Lloyd was a great place to play and court number 4 where we played which is a single set aside court is absolutely perfect for playing for a deaf player.
The facilities and courts of David Lloyd Swindon are truely perfect for my game. My left handed game was my main weapon in this match, most right handed players hate playing left handed players, and for my opponent this match they had never played a leftie before, I used this to my advantage, especially with my serve with 31 aces.
The final score was 6-0 6-0
if I could play all my matches at David Lloyd Swindon, I would at a drop of a hat!
As a treat I tried out the food at David Lloyd with a chicken burger and chips, very nice!
