Nutrition | Getting the Balance Right
Eating well is all about the different types of food that makes up our diet.
A Balanced Diet Includes:
- Plenty of bread, rice, potatoes, pasta and other starchy foods
- Plenty of Fruit & Vegetables
- Milk & Dairy products
- meat, fish, eggs, beans and non-dairy sources of protein
- A small amount of foods and drinks containing high fat and/or sugar
- Plenty of water
QUICK TIP:
- Water is essential to help our bodies work properly. Aim to drink 6-8 glasses (1.5ltrs) of water per day.
