The Good Old PRESS-UP
What is a press-up I here you ask? The next time you go to your local gym, have a good look around and see if anyone is doing the good old press-up anymore, well not in most gyms.
Most gym users are blinded by the sophisticated modern gym equipment nowadays that the old press up, like England winning the World Cup has been left in the archives.
Or so it would appear… the press up is being seen more and more in the old grunting gyms around the UK as the must do exercise to help build that chest and trainers are promoting the benefits to their clients and it’s more than an exercise for the chest if done correctly. The primary muscle group is of course the chest and then the triceps (back of arms) and then really the whole of your body like your whole core area and your legs. So the next time you get down the gym and look at the chest press machine, turn about and push out the good old press up.
