ULTRARACE PEAKS | August

This is the second year of this exciting addition to the ULTRArace calendar. A marathon and a half on fast trail through Derbyshire’s wonderful Peak District.

The Race Start is at Cromford Meadows – a stone’s throw from Arkwright’s Mill where cotton production was revolutionised.

Race registration will take place from 07:00 to 07:30 on Race Day at Fitness First, Derby where the race will also finish. We will transport runners from here to the Race Start at 07:30 – transport is included in the race entry fee.

The race starts with a climb to Middleton Top. The route then flattens out and begins a decline passing through Tissington, Fenny Bentley and Ashbourne. It then continues through Osmaston and Markeaton Park before reaching the Race Finish at Fitness First, Derby.

There will be toilet, showers and changing facilities at the Race Finish as well as massage. There is even a pub directly opposite if you fancy a well-deserved beer whilst watching the Finish.
