Valentines Food With Romance

How about getting romantic with this meal for two with love…  This meal may look like something you got at a swanky resturant but as you will see the cooking of this meal will be easy for even the complete novice.

Langoustines with Herby Aioli:

You cant beat fresh shell fish to make your dinner a special one, and as you will see, this is so easy to cook…

Prep Time: 5mins

Cooking Time: 12mins

 

Per Serving:

  • Cals: 376
  • Fat: 29.5g
  • Sat Fat: 2.5g
  • Salt: 0.59g
  • Total Sugars: 0.9g

 

  • 10x Fresh Scottish Lanoustines, from the fish counter
  • 1tbsp of Olive Oil
  • Zest and juice from 1x Lemon
  • 4tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil Mayonaise
  • 2x Cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1tbsp finely chopped fresh chives or parsley
  • Lemon Wedges (to serve on side)

 

Cooking:

  • Pre-heat oven to 200degrees C (fan: 180degrees C) (Gas: 6)
  • Put Langoustines in a roasting tin and toss with the olive oil, half of lemon zest and all but 1x tbsp of juice.
  • Season with black pepper
  • Roast for 12mins (until cooked through)

 

  • Combine the mayonaise with rest of the lemon zest and juice, garlic, and chives or parsley
  • Serve with the Langoustines and lemon wedges.

 

Serve with a nice glasses of Rose and dont forget the candles and romantic background music.
